SIC has over 25 years of experience in supplying critical military equipment to government organizations and its contractors worldwide. SIC has been registered as both Exporter and Broker with the Office of Defense Trade Controls. We have an industry leading export compliance system, which ensures materials and technical data are always shipped and controlled in accordance with the International Traffic in Arms regulations, the Arms Export Control Act, Export Administration Regulations, and all other US Government requirements related to our export transactions.

Our export compliance system includes:

Control of all licensable commodities and technical data
Customer, vendor, and forwarder screening
Export licensing with the Department of State and the Department of Commerce
AES filing
Shipping documentation preparation
Record keeping

SIC obtains the necessary export licenses for all international shipments and works closely with each country's Freight Forwarder to ensure each shipment is handled in full compliance with the US government regulations. For approved FMS shipments, the FMS ITAR exemption (126.6(c)) is used by the country's approved Freight Forwarder.

Export compliance is one of our important core values. SIC has a dedicated export compliance administrator who routinely reviews and enforces export control procedures and works in close partnership with all departments to ensure smooth transactions with all customers.
